# 222 - Vietnam Memorial
Continuing the Modern Commemoratives Dollar series, we will present you today the 1994 "Vietnam Veterans Memorial" graded by PCGS MS70.
All coins of this series weight 26.73g with 90% silver purity. They were issued in Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated finish.
They will be presented in the order they were minted.
This coin was issued to mark the 10th anniversary of the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, DC.
The obverse of the coin depicts a hand touching the Memorial Wall. The Washington Monument can be seen in the background of the scene.
The reverse features three military ribbons, as designed by Thomas D. Rogers Sr.
A total of 57,290 coins were minted in West Point. The issue price was U$32.00. The actual price is around U$135.00 in this grade.
