# 275 - Robert F Kennedy

Continuing the Modern Commemoratives Dollar series, we will present you today the 1998-S "Robert F. Kennedy" graded by PCGS PR70 DCAM.

All coins of this series weight 26.73g with 90% silver purity. They were issued in Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated finish.

They will be presented in the order they were minted.

This coin was issued to commemorate the life and work of Robert F. Kennedy. The year of release for the coin took place on the 30th anniversary of his death.

The obverse of the coin features an image of Robert F. Kennedy designed by Thomas D. Rogers, Sr.

The reverse of the coin includes the Seal of the Department of Justice and the Seal of the United States Senate. Robert F. Kennedy had served as the Attorney General and a New York Senator.

A total of 99,020 coins were minted in San Francisco. The issue price was U$37.00. The actual price is around U$300.00 in this grade.
