# 373 - Some Coins - Part 2
When I was in Canada last November, I bought several coins and I will show them to you.
The first is a 2014 $1 commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of the First World War.
Its mintage was 22,721 units. It weights 22.8g (0.73oz) with 99.99% silver purity and Proof finish.
The second is a 2006 $5 from the Canadian Wildlife Series (2004-2006). It is the Peregrine Falcon and Nestings.
Its mintage was 7,226 units. It weights 28g (0.9oz) with 99.99% silver purity and Proof finish.
I did not take a photo of the reverse because it is the same image of the Queen Elisabeth II, that we are tired of seeing.

As I am not part of the Commonwealth, I have nothing against the Queen, but I am a little tired of seeing her face in almost every coin that I have.

The Royal Canadian Mint loves commemoratives, but commemorate the beginnig of a war is a little too much.
