Finally.....
Afternoon everyone....
Finally after over 5 weeks, my truck is done. I just picked it up.
I spoke to the owner while I was there. The total repair bill was just under $12,000. The original appraisal was for around $6,000. The owner Ken told me that usually the insurance companies just want pictures sent of any additional work needed, but once my bill got over $9,000 they required an appraiser to come out each time.
That is what prolonged the job from being completed. Plus the last part needed from Ford was a dealt belt and tensioner, which was on back order at the factory. It took them five days to get it.
The truck looks brand new they detailed the entire truck. Even the inside which was really nice of them.

With the price of petrol over here, insurance and road tax, I'd have to take 2 extra jobs to afford to run something like that in the UK.

Thanks MIA Captain. It will save me a lot of waisted time driving all over to borrow one. It’s been a major headache. I had no free time before it happened, those five weeks were hell for me. But thank god i have good friends.

That is a great looking truck @silverd510 and they did a good job fixing it. I am going to have to start looking for one in the near future for farm work. 4x4, crew cab and in a darker color. Haha!
