Let's start to interact again #steemsilvergold - Who's got idea's?
Hello Steemsilvergold, the other day @buggedout released a post titled Historical Tag Analysis for Steemsilvergold. I love these posts cause im a stat junky and could look at charts and graph's all day long. I really need to pull my finger out and learn how to use SteemSQL so i can pull these stats at anytime. So in the post he showed a few different charts and did a little writing for each one, its a good post you should check it out but there is one put that has been stuck in the back of my head since reading the post. It shows that #steemsilvergold in terms of posts has been doing better compared to other popular tags but comments are way down, way way down. He suggests we might need to do something community related to get the action going again. We will be doing the Steem silver round soon and M4 will be a in a few months also so we have things coming up but what about something more regular?
We have enough members to have enough people to host community projects. This could be anything you can think if that members of the community would be interest in doing are taking part. As an example, i do a monthly community crypto group buy. This involves 4 posts which normally have really good interaction between members deciding which coin to buy for that month and other crypto stuff. As another example, we have 3 community mods that could at request host monthly/quarterly Stackitis Meetings to talk about everything community related, this be be hosted on the community discord server.
What can you you think of that you could do for the community? Should we start some sort of stacking league? Maybe a a silver round giveaway from Precious every month to one lucky member? We have not had a really good community challenge in a while, remember the pocket change challenge? Maybe we have something were we have members split into teams of 4-6 and we host a 'Precious Metals' quiz night on discord? That's a good one. You guys know me by now and you know i have idea's falling out my ass but as time goes by, i seem to become a little more timepoor every week and dont deliver on everything i suggest. The past few month i have been trying to plant seeds but nobody has biten so now im being blunt.
Let's get back together and start to interact more
We all joined Steemsilvergold for the Precious metals content but we are a community as well like no other with lots of strong friendship bonds having been made, that's keep that ball rolling and dont let it slow down on us

Cheers mate. Maybe we can try something with dpoll? You can see some examples at the dpoll tag https://steemit.com/trending/dpoll which we could use for the steem round this year but also for some other interesting discussion/debate.
Maybe we can try some competitions/polls for things like "Best New Coin/Round for 2019" or "Most Unique Stack Item" or something that will get people participating and engaging. Both showing their stuff and talking about the others they like.
I like the quiz night idea myself.
Here, i just checked out that dpoll really quickly and it lokos to be the dogs balls with steemconnect log in. This would have been great to know about before? Thanks again man!!
To be honest, im more hoping someone else will step up and host something but im down for whatever.

I have every member of steemsilvergold in my feed. There soooooooo little posting it’s ridiculous. I comment on about 80% of the posts. I haven’t missed posting yet and I’m lucky to get 3 or 4 comments. Not s good ratio from a community of over 100.

It might be a little bit hard with us being global. But what about a pass along package. Someone starts by putting three pieces of silver in a box and randomly sends it to a member who wants to participate. They take one of those pieces and replaces it with one from their stack. Then they mail it out. The last person sends it back to the original person who gets the 3 pieces left. That’s their surprise.

Powernap (aka goldrooster) says discord is great to interact. we could set a time or fixed date that all go there like Friday evening (timezones are complex). Or just got there more often everyone.
