I want to share a little ironic pearl of wisdom: it is the secret to winning prizes here on ssg. All you need to do is:

I just won @silverd510’s second raffle in a row! The Korean cheowchoo (or whatever it’s called) and a Korean Tiger. That’s 2oz of primo Silver Bullion, delivered for free, for the grand price of 9 sbd’s. So for a little under 1/2 price i just won these two ounces — which is awesome — but i also had the fun, anticipation and excitement of participating in the raffle.

Now granted i only had a 1/3 chance of winning, but those are pretty good odds! And, even if i hadn’t won, i am supporting a friend’s raffle, and indeed, the whole tag in doing so. I forgot how many tix i bought for 510’s first raffle, but it was many — and i won that one too.

So, as we stack ever cloaer to Saturday night and the ssg MONSTER RAFFLE, i would urge you all to buy up some tickets. ‘Cause if you ever buy lottery tix, enter sweepstakes or anything like that, then you will realize just how GREAT the odds are in winning something here.

I am a long time member and supporter of this awesome tag so i am going to pour it on. I have already sent in for 68 tickets and think i’m going to aim for a hundred — hell, i could win EVERYTHING!!! So make sure you thwart my plans with your ninja moves and fine probability & statistics skills!

There’s over 50 ounces to be won, and all i need to break even is about 6 of ‘em... so even if 1,000 tix get sold i am in for a “probable” 5 ounces... i could win more, or i could win less, but i will feel like a winner whatever the case, because 100sbd will be used to make it even shinier around here for everybody else — and it’s gonna’ be fun as fuck to win some shiny!!!
