Rubles of Alexander I
This is a silver Russian coin of the 19th century. At that time in Russia the Emperor Alexander ruled in his time began to mass produce silver coins. Most of all, rubles and half a ruble was minted. Coins in the photo were found by my friend in the foundation of the old house. Coins were hidden under the threshold of the house, so in ancient times people believed that in this way they could draw money into the house.
