"Treating wheat seeds before sowing"
Treatments can be done in several ways: Dry, wet, spraying, inking, mudding, dredging or foam treatment.
Wheat culture has the advantage of being fully mechanized. Also, wheat is a very good precursor crop, as harvesting takes place early and allows the shoots to be made from the summer.
Sowing density is determined by calculating how 500-700 spice / square meter can be harvested. Thus, the density should be between 450-550 germinable berms / m², taking into account the soil moisture, germinative quality, the sowing period and the particularities of the chosen variety.

The distance between rows of wheat in Romania is 12.5 cm, and sowing machines are set at this distance. Worldwide, the distance may vary between 10-18 cm.

Wheat is one of the plants that reacts positively to the application of organic and mineral fertilizers in all climatic conditions in our country. The plant does not have high nutrient consumption, but wheat is very pretentious to fertilization.
Fungicides provide protection for wheat plants only for a limited period of time. For plants to stay healthy until harvest, additional treatments are needed to protect wheat in all phases of vegetation.
The right time to harvest wheat is when the plant reaches maturity, and the grains have a moisture content of 14-15%. During this time, the losses are minimal and the grains can be kept in optimal conditions, without the need for special drying operations. Farmers cultivating wheat on very large areas sometimes start harvesting even at 16-17% humidity to avoid delays.

Harvesting ends when the grains reach a moisture content of 12-13%. Below these values, losses due to shaking will occur due to overcoating of the grains, but also to bad weather. The ideal harvesting period is 5-8 days, but it can be shortened to 5-6 days under hot conditions and can be extended to 6-8 days under high humidity conditions.

The harvesting process is carried out with the use of universal self-propelled combines. To avoid harvest losses and breakage of threshing grains, the combines must be adjusted frequently.
