Spraying the STEEMWhale!

Today is an epic day. Thanks to the brilliant work of @roelandp, I was able to sit at my desk and use the STEEM blockchain to spray water from the blowhole of a life-sized whale sitting in a harbor on the other side of the planet...

Yes, you heard that correctly. I triggered a fake Dutch whale's blowhole by using the STEEM Blockchain... and you can too!

All you need to do is donate a minimum of 1 STEEM or SBD to @whalefountain, and follow along on the livestream. Roughly 30 seconds after sending the donation, a large sperm whale replica will spray water out of it's blowhole in the Harlingen Harbor (the stream has a 20 second lag).

After you trigger the whale's blowhole, @whalefountain will send you a memo with a link to a GIF of the whale in action. Above you can see the GIF from the first time I utilized the STEEMWhale. Unfortunately nobody was walking by, but I think I might've been close to shooting a bird out of the sky...

This is a fun project that will draw attention to the power of blockchain technology and the STEEM platform itself. The funds received are used to maintain the whale, with the excess funds being donated to a marine conservation charity.
