Movie Review: Alita Battle Angel

Recently I just watched this long awaited movie. Being a fans of the manga in the 90's during my school time, I know the story very well. Surprisingly the movie added new details to the manga, "Alita's Indentity".... As at until now, her indentity still not fully being told in manga.

Personally I give: 4 Stars

storyline
In a distant future, a cyber doctor named Dyson Ido discovered a damaged but still intact female cyborg head. After revived her, she has no memory of her past and the doctor named her Alita. Thats where the adventure starts....

The movie really follow nearly 100% of the manga. Because of the runtime only 2 hours++, James Cameron managed to combine few story into it. Im surprised it actually connected properly i.e. Cyborg Grewishka, Motorball, Hugo, and Desty Nova....

Casting
I'm very happy with the casting. Rosa Salazar as Alita, Christopher Waltz as Dyson@Daisuke Ido, Ed Skrein as Zapan, Keean Johnson as Hugo.... They all really looks the same as in manga.

Motorball
A brutal and bloody sports similar to a mixed of rugby and gladiator. The scene was truly awesome!! James Cameron really nailed it. Even though it an extremely face pace scene, you still able to see the details.

Background scenic
The CGI designed of city scape really followed exact from manga. Don't just focus your eyes on characters, look at every details of the background.

Conclusion
Overall its a well worth watching movie even though it felt many scene like there's glitch. The sad scene is very near to the manga as well. I can't wait for the sequel.
