Solar power is the conversion of energy from sunlight to electricity. This conversion can be obtained either directly using photovoltaic or indirectly using concentrated solar power. It can also be obtain using the both photovoltaic and concentrated solar power.

Concentrated solar power is the use of lens,mirrors and tracking systems to direct a huge amount of sunlight into a particular beam. Why the that of photovoltaic cells uses photovoltaic effect to convert light into electric current.

All the same,photovoltaic were the first to use as the wellspring of power for little applications. The current biggest photovoltaic power on the planet is the 850mw longyangxia dam in China why the 392mw ivanpah establishment is the biggest concentrating sun based power plant found In Mojave of California.

According to international energy agency 2014,

Photovoltaic and concentrated solar power contributed up to 16 and 11 percent of the world wide electricity consumption and solar would be the worlds largest source of electricity.source

In 2017,solar energy was considered one of the wellspring of power generation growing up to 35% for each annum. The significant reason of sun oriented power innovation is to decrease the fuel utilization or to enhance traditional vitality source.

Photovoltaic

This solar panel are produces to supply a particular voltage of about 12v depending on the amount of incident light. Photovoltaic solar power system are grouped into three different forms depending on their implementation.
Photovoltaic direct system: this compose supplies current just when the sun is sparkling. It doesn't store control because of the nonattendance of battery in it.

With solar thermal photovoltaic, you have the possibility to exceed that. This device helps to double the amount of light coming from the panel.source

Ever since the year 1961,solar energy has a particular theoretical limit of light that it generates, which they called Shockley queissor limit. But now a days a multiple layers of cells has been used which improves the quality of an electricity, this device is known as solar thermo photovoltaics. It involves combining conventional solar cells with high tech materials to double the limit of efficiency.

We believe that this new work is an exciting advancement In the field,as we have demonstrated for the first time a solar thermo photovoltaic device that has a higher solar to electrical conversion efficiency compared to that of the underlying photovoltaic.mit

Even though this device has a proper functioning capacity. It can also reduce the rate at which solar energy are dissipated by absorbing the energy first by an intermediate components to a temperature that would allow the components to emit thermal radiation.
By turning the material and configurations of these added layers it is then now easy to emit the radiation for the solar cell to capture.

On this note bierman include his own point of view by saying that,

The key is using high tech materials called nanophotonic crystals which can be made to emit precisely determined wavelength of light when heated. In this test,the nanophotonic crystals are integrated into a system with vertically aligned carbon nanotubes and operate at a high temperature of 1000 degree Celsius. Once heated the nanophotonic crystals continue to emit a narrow band of wavelength of light that precisely matches the band that an adjacent photovoltaic cell can capture and convert it to an electric current.source

Coming to my own Point of view,I will say that the invention of this device will add a lot of advantages over photovoltaic because to the fact that this photonic device produces emission base on heat instead of light simply means it will be unaffected by any changes in the environment.

Haven't understood at this point, have you asked yourself the possible barrier that might result in the installation of this solar panel. Most times dent in the solar power will be the major problem associated with the solar panel.
Let us give a little hint on this dent in solar panel.

In the case of I an Marius peter an MIT research scientists who was walking In solar energy research in Singapore in 2013.

He encountered an extraordinary pollution which made the whole city to be occupied with haze that is found so thick.mit

On this note that Peter a coworkers of clean tech wondered how this polluted could have effect in solar energy most especially In the urban area.
He went further to estimate the amount of sunlight that is being absorbed by the haze before reaching the solar panel. He found out that the haze has added a lot of disadvantage by reducing the solar panel output.
Base on this fact,peter says,

When you are doing project planning, if you haven't considered air pollution, you are going to under size and get a wrong estimate of your return on investment.source

On this comments made by peter,some of the scientists added a great effort to check the amount of effort a haze has on solar panel. They made this using different solar cells such as gallium arsenide,cadmium telluride and perovskite which they found out that was greatly affected by the haze. This is now a clear point of view that haze is one of the factors that should be putting into consideration why mounting a solar panel so that there will be enough electricity distribution.

Conclusion

I will start by giving a big thanks most especially to the MIT researchers who has made a great effort to see that the amount of electricity generated by the solar power has increased using solar thermal photovoltaic. This invention has made a great changes as regards to solar power.

I therefore say that solar power is one of the electricity giving source which helps to reduce the amount of fussil fuel burnt everyday In other to generate light.
Haven't understood the concept of this solar, I sincerely believe that solar system will make a great change in the history of electricity generation.
