A: What is an enzyme?

in #stemq5 years ago (edited)

Besides the fact that proteins can have other functions in addition to their enzymatic activity, RNA is also able to carry out enzymatic reactions. Therefore, enzymes are biological catalysts which can be made of amino acids (proteins) or nucleic acid (RNAs).

I had a quick look at StemQ but so far I cannot tell how the double "A:" did happen.
You wouldn't have added it manually in the title by any chance?

For now, please update the title to simply read "A: What is an enzyme?" and StemQ should add your answer to the question after a short while.

Hey,

no problem

it should be working now.

Thanks for your support

Hi @chappertron,

I see that this answer is not appearing on StemQ.
I noticed the double "A:" in the title which probably causes the problem.
Let me have a look.
