Perspective

Don't Forget Train perspective 1.jpg

You ever have one of those days when you child just doesn't seem to get it?

The train is about to leave the station and even though you told him ten times you know that he must have forgotten something. Yet he is so excited about the trip and carrying his own bag that he can't think of anything else. Little Sticky forgot his "D" and he doesn't even know it.

You try to put things more into perspective but it is so hard to understand a kid like Sticky. Why would he leave behind the letter "D" going on a trip. You can't say anything to him because it would just burst his bubble. As you get closer to seeing things in his perspective you catch that he is just a kid. He loves to have fun but he also loves his mom and dad.

Finally you get the picture straight and you can see eye to eye on things.

There are no more patronizing feelings. You know the only way for him to learn is to experience the natural consequences of his own mistakes. Are you going to fix his spelling? There has got to be a way to tell him that his is missing a "D" with out crushing his spirits.

You know as well as I do that there are bots that will check spelling but there are no bots on this escalator and Sticky produced a spelling error. @checky is not there. @grammarnazi has gone to bed. There is no @guard to clobber him for linking people to https://dintsite.com instead of the esteemed https://didntsite.com

Sticky is all alone in the world of misspellings. His mom knows that he forgot the "D" but will she tell him? He may never spell a word again and be crushed in all the rules and regulations of language itself for once spelling and grammar is applied will his creative mind be fried?

In Sticky's warped mind he is the center of the universe.

His spelling mistake is on a far distant planet and his mom is small in perspective to his own warped head and the numbers he sees on the platform clock. Even if his mom did correct his spelling error he wouldn't notice. His mind is focused on catching the train.

In reality Sticky has no idea how limited his world is.

Sticky and his world actually emerged from a photo. There is no train just lines across digital pixels. Perspective is changed through a transform selection process of a software program called Krita. After making the sketch and playing with the perspectives I kind of wish we could change perspectives like this in our 3 D life away from the screen. It would sure help.

So far this is my train of thought.

Howdy sir mineopoly! Sticky..lol..that is super cool the way you did all those drawings!

Thanks,

I drew one with a sketchpad and stretched it out with a computer program called Krita. I was trying to animate it but need more practice^^

Howdy sir mineopoly! Oh, you can animate it with that Krita program? Hey that's gong to be very entertaining once you get that mastered!
