It peaked around $126 today and now down to $110 in afterhours.... maybe the Super Red Hot Cannabis Stock Bubble has finally burst ... we will see what happens tomorrow.

Interesting post. I have a friend that got a license and built some serious growing facilities in Washington state. He is struggling because of over supply. The market is tightly regulated and the state gave out way too many growers licenses.

I'm libertarian. Let the free market work already. Hmmmm government tries to control market. Government gets revenue from licenses. Government issues too many licenses and destroys market for the growers. Who would have seen that coming? lol
A few big companies (backed by the Liberal Government ) will survive and all the little growers will lose everything.... besides it is so easy to grow from seeds

Bingo. You are hitting all my hot buttons! Big business is always in bed with big government. Regulation is their deal with the devil. Only big companies can thrive with heavy regulation. So big companies never fight regulation.

I heard in the news that we are proposing a lifetime ban on our neighbors to the north is they admit to smoking or have any involvement in the marijuana business. We don't see it as legal business in this country even though it is legal in several states.
Might explain the sudden drop.
And who'd admit to it, if this is the ridiculous consequence?
