Folk Stories : Dog and Cat

My grandfather had so many folklore stories..
He use to telling story to us, which is me, my sibling and my cousins. From the story during colonial period and the folklore also ghosts stories.

So today, I'll write a stories about the dog and the cat.

My grandfather said...

Drinking "kinomol" which is traditional alcoholic drink in Sabah usually had been drink with friends until drunk. The villagers usually drink until drunk when there is gathering with their friends.

So it's happen during heavy rain, thunder and lightening ...
The villagers consists of few people gather in a house with joy and drunk, laughter until they didn't know what they do.

They played with the dog and cat, dancing around doing something crazy... The rain become more and more heavy until the homestead become muddled and slowly the house sink into the mud.. Seem it's like the earth swallow the house...

One of the villagers able to get out from the house before the house sink..3/4 of the house sink and become a stone.. The others villagers saud, it was a curse.. And the big stone remains there until now..

The lesson: Even it's just dog or cats, we as a human who had brains should behave well and should protect the animals...
