Tortoise and the pigeon 2
The pigeon was so happy but the tortoise was envious of him, they bade good bye to their host and set off. The pigeon jumped on his horse and the tortoise also climbed his ram, within a minute, the pigeon has covered a long distance and tortoise was coming sluggishly at the back, the ram was never an animal that can be ride, it is covetousness that is killing the tortoise.
As the tortoise rode on and realised the ram wasn't fast, he suggested probably it was the hair on its body that didn't allow it, so he brought out his knife and shave all the ram's hair, then he cut its two ears, and at the end, he made up his mind to slaughter the ram since it can't run... The pigeon waited for his friend at the front, when tortoise get to where he was, the pigeon was surprised that he had killed the ram, tortoise brought down his bag and offered the pigeon part of his ram's meat to cook at home, the pigeon collected it and thank the tortoise and they continue with the journey..
Suddenly the tortoise ask the pigeon to give him his meat which the pigeon brought out but the tortoise said he was only joking he can keep it, few minutes again, the tortoise ask for his meat and when the pigeon gave it to him, he refused to take it saying since he collected his meat, they have to kill his horse and share the meat too, not waiting for the pigeon to reply, the tortoise brought out his knife and killed the horse.
When they wanted to share the meat, the tortoise said all the soft part of the horse belong to the owner of the knife and the hard part belongs to the owner of the horse, when he used the knife to touch the horse everywhere was soft apart from the head and that was what he gave to the pigeon, there was nothing the pigeon could do, he collected it and ran to the front, dig a hole on the path where the tortoise will pass and put the horse head there with its eyes showing outside, then he hid himself in a nearby bush and was waiting for the tortoise to passby..
when the tortoise got there and saw the horse eyes, he was afraid, he thought it was the ground eyes and the ground wanted something from him, so he brought out his meat and gave all to the ground eyes and ran away, the pigeon couldn't stop laughing, he came out, pack all the meat and also the horse head and went home happily..
