Beautiful Castle🏰Luxembourg - Vianden Castle

Castle is open for tourists who want to visit it,in March and October from 10 am to 5 pm, from April to September from 10 am to 6 pm,November and December from 10 am to 4 pm.

In between 11th and 14th century Vianden Castle was built on the foundations of a Roman castle and a Carolingian refuge.In 1417, the castle and its lands were inherited by the younger line of the German House of Nassau, which -in 1530- also acquired the French principality of Orange.

Grand Duke Adolphe became the owner of the castle in 1890,and remained in the hands of the Grand Ducal family until 1977 when it was transferred into state ownership. Today ranks among the most significant historical monuments of Europe.
