Overcoming Discouragement

One of the greatest crises that could destroy the faith of many of us and could almost weaken his will-power to live is discouragement. It is an attitude of mind that often comes to many of us when are living in this contemporary word, having claimed the assurance that all things would continue to be good.
One of the most effective weapons that our enemy could has ever used against us is the weapon of discouragement. One things that will easily get a person down and feat anyone and cause him or her to be cynical, resentful and bitter and even lose heart is disappointment. If you read many books and heard story about many peoples you will find the many examples of men and women whose lives had been hampered and hindered because they were overrun by discouragement.
Many of us too have been the victims of discouragement in one ways or the others. For many of us too, discouragement has been the result of unexpected happening, things turning out differently from the way we expected them that make us to be discouraged.
Discouragement destroyed initiative or render a person useless and disillusioned. I read in a book sometimes ago the author of the book wrote “There is a legend which reported that the devil/enemy of progress once advertised its tools for sale at a public auctions. When the prospective buyers had assembled, they saw a tool that was oddly shaped with label ‘Not for Sale’. When the enemy of progress/devil was asked to explain why he was willing to sell the tools he said, ‘I can spare my other tools, but I cannot spare this. It is the most useful implement that I have. It is called Discouragement, and with it I can work my way into hearts otherwise inaccessible.
When an enemy of progress get this tool into one’s heart, the way is open to plant anything negative there that your enemy desire. Yes discouragement is a dangerous state of the mind, because it leaves a man open to the assault of the enemies of the soul.
Of a truth challenges of life will make one’s to think otherwise, but always be positive, you should not be discouraged of what you are going through now; we should not lose sight at all of the fact that one finds quite often a note of defeat and failure in the lives, discouragement is the greatest man enemy which is around knocking every heart of man, don’t allow it to control you to avoid dreams and goals been paralyzed. Be positive, never give up.
