once upon a time. Was a Guruji. He had many disciples. One day he called his disciples and explained-

In all the living beings, God resides, so we should greet everyone.

After some days, Guruji organized a huge havan and sent some of the disciples to nearby forest to take wood. The disciples were picking up the woods that only there a mad elephant threatened. All the disciples started running away and shouted, "Run ... .hathi came ... mad elephant came ...."

But there was also a disciple among them who stood still in this dangerous situation. His companions were surprised to see him do this and one of them said, "What are you doing? Do not see the crazy elephant coming here ... Run and save your life! "

On this, the disciple said, "You guys go, I have no fear of this elephant ... Guruji had said that Narayana is the abode of every creature, so there is no need to escape."

By saying this, he stood there and as soon as the elephant approached, he began to greet him.

But where the elephant was about to stop, he was going to destroy everything that came in front of him. And as soon as the pupil was in front of him, the elephant lifted him up and threw him aside and went ahead.

The disciple was badly hurt, and he got injured and became unconscious.

When he sensed, he was in the ashram and Guruji was standing in front of him.

Guruji said, "Even seeing the elephant coming down, why did not you go from there, while you knew that he could hurt you."

Then the disciple said, "Guruji, you only said that God resides in all living beings. For this reason I did not run, I thought it was proper to salute. "

Then Guruji explained -

Son, you obey me, this is a very good thing, but I have also taught that even in the unfortunate circumstances it should not lose its discretion. Son, Hathi Narayan was coming, you saw this. You understood the elephant as Narayan. But when the rest of the disciples stopped you, why did not you see Narayan in them. They even forbid you, did not you? Why did not you believe in his talk? If you accept his advice, you do not have to face such a problem, you do not have such a condition. Even the water is Narayan but people give water to the god and people wash their bath with water. . Always make decisions by keeping in mind the country, time and circumstances.

Friends, many times it happens that instead of understanding the real meaning of an enlightening thing, we get caught by the words we say in that matter. Guruji had asked the disciples to see Narayana in every organism, which meant that we should all respect and should not be harmed by anybody. But the disciple just sat down on his words and got up on his life.

So, by saying this, we get this education that we should follow the thing of others, but we must not lose sight of our discretion under the special circumstances. We must make decisions according to our circumstances.
