Pride of the magician

Once there was a magician in the court of King Krishna Dev Rai. He entertained the entire court for a long time by showing amazing magic feats. On the way back, taking a lot of gifts from the King, challenging everyone in the pride of his art-

Can a person show amazing feats like me? Can anybody bump me here?

After hearing this open challenge, all the courtiers became silent. But Tenaliram did not like the pride of this magician. He immediately stood up and said that yes, I challenge you that the feat that I will show off my eyes will not be able to do it with open eyes. Now tell me do you accept my challenge?

The magician was blind in his importance. He immediately accepted the challenge.

Tenaliram called the chef and fetched him a powder of pepper. Now Tenaliram closed his eyes and put a handful of chilli powder on him. Then in a short while, he wiped the pepper powder and wiped his eyes with the cloth and washed his face with cold water. And then told the magician that now you have a feat with open eyes and show a sampling of your magic.

The arrogant wizard understood his mistake. He apologized and joined hands with the king's court.

Raja Krishna Dev Rai was very impressed with this tactic of his clever minister, Tenaliram. He immediately honored him with an award and gave thanks to the state's respect.
