This is a little different than what I have done in the past.

Just for fun, I want to talk about a crazy guy. The story is wild. This starts in the late 1970s. The Bay area of Sacramento. A man is raping women. Victims describe him as coming in with a flashlight in the dark. He would whisper things such as "do you want to die" or "shut up or I will kill you.". The women begin a panic in the community. Among these rapes we hear of two murders and these are believed to be the first two murders of the golden state killer. The "east area rapist" has now become a murderer. He had been committing rapes over months in Sacramento. The attacker attacks more women on the bay area. This robber would rob and ransack the homes. He was not only a rapist but a murderer and burglar. This had the community in terror. Over 10 months quiet suburban neighborhoods are terrorized.

The terror continues

4 years of terror and nobody has been caught for the golden state rapes and murders. The neighborhoods were in fear and communities were gathering ways to try and protect themselves. They came up with organized efforts and meetings on the concept of stoppingthe bay area rapist. The golden state killer would taught and call his victims and say terrible things like "I will kill you" Before hanging up the phone. The rapist would always wear a mask so they never knew what he looked liked. Though in july of 1979 the rapist slips up and shows his victims his face. He still makes it away into the darkness.

Murders happening left and right we had a serial killer on the run. Bodies began stacking up and we had a community in complete fear. The victims were beaten to death with blunt objects. They re-dubbed this killer the "Night stalker" with that he had killed 10 people and still wasn't caught. We had a cold case. but were these crimes connected? We are talking 50 attacks connected. 50 attacks! This is alarming. The killers and the rapist began having somewhat connected patterns. The murder would have left the same ballsy evidence as the rapist. The police began to catch on and used modern DNA technology together with rap kits that were taken from victims to create a profile. In 2001 they finally found out that the killer and the rapist are the same person. The police still hadn't busted the killer and were frustrated.

A DNA matching website held the key to the killer. The police uploaded the killers DNA and started trying to connect it to the killers family tree. They had tried to find a family member of the killer through this technique. They finally find someone who shared the DNA with the killer. Through this they connected the dots toward the killer himself. It was a perfect match to the Golden state killer crime scenes. Joseph Deangelo was caught finally at 71 years old and charged as the golden state killer. This man went on for decades killing and raping women and was finally caught. 12 murders and 50 rapes later. He was caught.
