Emperor Akbar was so fond of horse riding that if he liked the horses were ready to pay the price. From the far-flung countries, such as Arabs, Persia etc., the merchants of horses used to come in the court with a strong and attractive horse. The king used to give a good price for the horse chosen for his personal use. Those who were not interested in the horse king were bought for the army.

There was good trade of horse vendors in Akbar's court.

One day a new seller of horses came in the court. Other merchants did not even know him. He sold two very attractive horse to the king and said that he could bring such a hundred horses and bring it, provided it be given half the price.

Since the king loved horses very much, so did the mind immediately to take the hundred and the horse.

The king called his cashier and asked the trader to pay half the amount. The cashier led the dealer to the treasure. But it was not fair to anyone that the emperor gave such a huge amount to a known businessman as a promotion. But nobody dared to oppose it.

Everyone wanted Birbal to take up this matter.
