The Hunter

He loved the thrill of the hunt.

He’d found another strange set of tracks in the forest. They were almost leading on in a circle.

He realized his error only when the creature broke through the underbrush. It had been circling him all day.

Today, he wasn’t the hunter. Today, he was prey.
