Open Road Beauty part 3！

I have been used to smaller roads that take turns every other mile and seeing a straight that seemed to last an eternity was a strange feeling. For those looking around there wasn’t much to see but as the journey progressed various lakes, mountains and livestock would come into view. This could be compared to a long plane or train journey and I simply zoned out at times.

Every so often I would peer out of the window and quickly realise once again how close the above clouds were. Appearing huge in stature, it showed how high we had ascended into the high realms of Tibetan lands. Driving towards the distant mountains almost felt like a journey towards heaven. Road trips are truly enjoyable and it’s worth planning shorter ones to get a feel for the vibe.
