Heya, fellow steemians and otakus! It's me again, @yuki-nee for another [Poetic Short Story] titled, "The Man and the Shell"
There's a man walking on the beach. He saw a beautiful shell but it's out of reach. The man used a stick to get the shell. But like a fleeting lover it's gone in a spell. So with a sigh the man could only helplessly watch. Watching as the beautiful shell was swept away by the bluish patch.
Shaking his head the man could only smile. A smile that looked incredibly wry. But it's not like the man did not get anything from the ordeal. For now he knew that not all beautiful dreams are real. And he realized that not everything could be his. Some could be swept away, and taken in a hiss.
So the man continued his walk. Hoping in his walk he'll get a little bit of slack. He let the waves splash on his feet. And honestly he felt it was neat. Looking at the beautiful setting sun. The man went forward obviously having fun.
