'Granny'

I believe it was an awesome idea to paint an old granny on the stairs leading to the green market. An absolute proof of street art working perfectly in urban surroundings. I added a touch of mystery to the photograph by accentuating the patina.

Enjoy! :)

Interesting proposal! In this way it not only recovers and gives color to some places that may be neglected, but also helps to express and put into practice artistic creativity. Some spaces can grab another air and inject life with a simple image. With that touch of mystery you added to it, I just hope this grandmother isn't an evil witch taking apples to Snow White. Enjoy your day, @velimir!

What a beauty! For a talented painter any surface can be a good canvas. I am amazed at the ability to paint every part of the drawing step by step so perfectly. I like these interventions in spaces that go unnoticed. The photo is perfect, the perspective allows you to admire all the art there and your touch makes it more special. Greetings, @velimir.

Wow! I love that artful stairway. And, I agree on your image treatment too. Terrific.

I have noticed that this type of street art exercise is being put into practice in several countries. In Latin America, I have seen documentaries of interesting works made in Brazil, for example. I think there's also something in our country, Venezuela. In fact, it is a very valid proposal that promotes the relationship between the ordinary citizen and art. The painted image is very well captured in your photograph, and being a grandmother that sepia effect looks very good, as well as that angulation in counterpoint. The stairs are so symbolic; I got the image of the famous Odessa stairs from Einsenstein's film. Greetings, @velimir.
