STREET FOOD and DESSERT in JAPAN - Anther level of quality

If you have a chance to visit Japan, one thing I really want to urge you is to try as many street foods and desserts as possible.
In Japan, there are a lot of different kinds of street foods you can enjoy, also top-notch dessert with a wide variety from traditional to modern and fusion.

Matcha
Always my favorite😍 Whenever I see any matcha dessert, I just grab and try it without any hesitation.
What I also enjoy is having any kind of dessert with a cup of matcha, the special bitter taste of matcha goes quite well with the sweetness of most desserts. Even though it might take some time to get used to the grassy, bittersweet flavor of matcha, soon you will find yourself seeking out beautifully well foamed good matcha whenever you have a sweet dessert 😋

Oden
Japanese hotpot dish, commonly eaten in winter. Ingredients could be varied, the ones we ate were containing squid, octopus, butter potato and some vegetables. They were quite savory as Oden ingredients are usually simmered in a broth made from soy-flavored broth.
Oden is the beloved Japanese winter street food as it warms your body, also it's quite cheap. You can find them easily in any convenience store in Japan during autumn and winter, It will bring you happiness only with a couple of coins 😉

Takoyaki
If you visit Osaka, you will see this small, ball-shaped snack quite often on the street. You might be curious about it and might even try, then please remember not to eat the whole piece all at once, as it is usually quite hot. It's better to bite half first to be safe, also to see what's inside of this little ball. Most of the cases, there are minced or diced octopus (tako), the combination of a chewy tako, well fried outer skin and sweet sauce is interestingly delicious.

Cheesecake

This chain shop Pablo is specialized in cheesecakes and tarts. What made them special is not only their super creamy products but also that you can choose it to be baked rare or medium-rare - imagine ordering a stake😉. Plus, most of the time, once you order they will start baking cakes right away, you can see how they bake with unbelievably appetizing smell while you are waiting for it. The only thing which will come up your mind is that you just want to grab a spoon and start devouring it, they will ring a bell when the cake is ready, then its the time you can actually do what you thought😍
