Denver Art Museum Zhang Huan Pilgrimage streetphotography
I ran into this guy outside the Denver Art Museum in Denver Colorado as I walked around the large building seeing many unusual sculptures, statues, and installations. This was one of the most striking to me and I wondered if I was looking at a dead man.
It turns out he is not dead, but lying on a block of ice.
I have been to New York City a few times and I love it there. It is one of my favorite places to visit. I can relate to the idea of wanting "to feel the city with my body". I don't fear it at all, but visiting is an intense experience if you have not been there before and even if you have.
And today, after all the heat and excitement of yesterday's Fourth of July festivities, I think the idea of lying on ice might feel pretty good.
