A UNESCO World Heritage site, Luang Prabang is considered the cultural capital of Laos PDR. Surrounded by The Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers, Luang Prabang is a blend of traditional Lao and French colonial architecture.
Prepare to be captivated by its picturesque streets lined with a mix of old French and Asian style buildings. Interestingly enough, these streets are also home to many Buddhist temples.
Posting and looking at my photos, I can feel how quiet, calm and free from the disturbance of the megalopolis Luang Prabang is!
