Rudeness isn't strength.

"Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength."- Eric Hoffer.image.png

Too many people believe rudeness equals strength because, they lack what it takes to be strong. Rudeness is the compensating tool used by the completely inadequate man so he feels good about himself, while hurting others.

I Feel Blessed!

An inadequate man will always resort to doing things that scares people off while he tells himself he is above all. Being rude is not the way to go in the way we treat and deal with the people we come across and thinking it shows strength is simply delusional and wrong.

No one should be made to experience any form of unfair treatment in the hands of another no matter how small they may be. The man who stands out as being strong is usually he who treats everyone as he would be treated.

Using a show of force to compel people to do what we want doesn't and will in no way show love and respect. Respect is reciprocal. You give what you intend to be given or even better. Hold yourself accountable for the way you treat others.
Rudeness cannot compensate for strength. He who is strong will show that strength in the way he deals with and handles the day.

You cannot imitate strength with rudeness. It is either strength or weakness. The weak has the ability to show strength if given the chance to. You cannot use red to represent white, they are two very different colors and cannot turn out as the other even with the best imitation in play. Strength is strength and Rudeness is rudeness.

Show strength always and the world will produce more people with strength.

Make the world a better place for someone today!

Are you one of the lazy youths I've been hearing about?

Rudeness is the compensating tool used by the completely inadequate man so he feels good about himself, while hurting others.

From your definition, it can be deduced that, people who exhibit rudeness might be suffering from low self-esteem. However, that is just a null hypothesis. As such, I might take interest to carry out a research on this.

  • How likely are people with low self-esteem to become rude?
  • Is there a correlation between low self-esteem and rudeness?
  • If there's any, is the correlation a strong one or weak one?

Well done @ejemai, you've given me something to ponder on.

It's much easier to be rude than to be polite. do you know why? Because politeness requires much discipline and strength than rudeness. Rudeness most often seems to come naturally, but politeness needs to be learnt. That is why polite people are always being appreciated.

A rude person only feels like a god in his/her own eyes but to the eyes of everyone around, all they see is a manner less human being with no regard. Real strength is not doing the norm but going against the norm. Rudeness is doing what is normal and what everyone espects while politeness and respect is doing what no one expects. being polite is actually a great show of strength because only a very few people can actually show such in tensed situation.
