Knowledge is power
Knowledge is really power. A person who is not knowledgeable ends up in situations of embarrassing magnitude. The reason is quite simple, lack of information is the worst form of darkness there is.
When military bodies are at war, they try to ensure maximum secrecy while also trying to get as much information on the enemy as possible. This is so because once your plans are a secret, you can do and undo and no one will see it coming. Similarly, once you know about your opponent's plan, you can also do and undo.
When we look at the list of powerful people around the world, we discover that they are not that way solely because of money, it is that way because they have information all the time.
You cannot prevent something you don't know about, you cannot avoid something you know nothing of, you cannot fight something you are unaware of and you cannot defeat something you're not prepared for. Information is always out there, we have to always seek access to it.
The power to effect change comes from information which is knowledge and that is why the age we have found ourselves in; an age characterized by technological marvels and ingenious can be characterized as the information and technology age.
Knowledge is power, go out and get it!

@ehiboss knowledge is power while information is a virus, how they are put into use determines their outcome.
In fact in Greek and Hebrew history they synched knowledge to light and ignorance to darkness.
Can't agree any less. Ignorance is the worst form of darkness that gives birth to multiple of personal and societal dysfunction.
Information really counts if we initiate it into action. No wonder the saying goes "the grave is the richest garden because men die with potential and information not utilized". Information is good. Taking Action makes it better.
