Have your sense of pride when all else fails, you might just have to fall back to that.
There are moments when you get to your weakest, moments when you see nothing but pain and sadness, remember, your sense of pride and self worth will keep you going.

You cannot change the hands of time, you cannot undo a done deed. However, you can choose to make amends and simply forge ahead. You cannot change the way things are but you can change the way things can be.

One of the greatest loss is when we lose what makes us human, our sense of understanding forgiveness because although we might not know, once the toxin of unforgiveness wears off, we are left with so many bullshit to clean up and we have to go back to square one painfully.

There is this saying that a man or woman will change for someone they truly care about. If someone refuses to change, remember that they simply do not care or they don't care enough. No matter how much you try or get deceived, you can't change the way people behave, they will only bend heaven and earth for you if they truly want to be with you.

I remember a story as a child, a man captured a bird and the bird told him: if you let me go I will tell you four things that will make you rich..
The bird said;

• Value what you have.
• Never cry over what you can't have.
• Think well before you act
  The bird now said release me and I'll tell you the fourth thing. The man released the bird and the bird laughed and said the man should recite all he told him. The man then realized he was a fool.

Sometimes, we might decide to do something and insist on it inspite of everyone else's warning, and when we understand why we were advised not to do it, it might be late. If you do good and end up receiving bad as a reward, don't stop doing good.

"And God looked at eveything he created and said it was good." We are beautiful in our own way no matter what.
