Studio Snapshot: Using Our Proofed Room Remotely (Electric Guitar)

This was a major accomplishment today: Setting up our isolated quiet room for recording electric guitar monitored from our mixing room. This is a high shot of our quiet room:

So the secret here is directly where I’m pointing:

So, we happen to have a secret bookshelf in our house!

Which, conviently, leads directly to our mixing room. So @skuuun and I ran some cords today... Headphones to the room and a 1/4 inch from the amp:

And now I can record guitar remotely from the quiet room in the mixing room!

I hope you audioheads and passerbys enjoyed this little glimpse into my little improvement in the home studio! Peace ya’ll :)

    That's such a sweet set up with the secret wall! My friend used to live in a house in Vancouver that had a secret bookshelf in the hallway that led to a bedroom in the attic. Was so cool! Congrats on getting recording space together. Listening to your Open Mic 116 and lovin' it!
