Sublime Sunday # "Weekend spent at the Farmhouse"
Sublime Sunday by @c0ff33a gives an opportunity to bring out your creative expressions and post your random crazy creativity.
Some of us friends decided to do an overnight stay at one of our friend's farmhouse which is an hour away from the city. This weekend the weather was perfect in Muscat city. It was cloudy, though it didn't rain much but through out the day it was drizzling which is so unlikely in the Middle East region. We did not expect the weather would turn out to be like this, it was a bonus for us. I thoroughly enjoy this type of weather, otherwise it is always bright sunny days and scorching heat.
The farmhouse had nice small cottages with basic amenities. so it is sufficient to spend an overnight. We were totally 15 of us with 4 kids. we had carried everything with us, the food, drinks , music arrangements and some games also to play. The farmhouse was huge, it had a swimming pool, big garden area, a bird house and the whole place is surrounded by trees of all different fruits. There were Pomegranate, Mango, Naseberry trees all over the place and lot of other plants. Being around in this place for 2 days was very refreshing and rejuvenating. At night we all spread out the mattresses in one line for sleeping. This reminded me of my school days, when we used to go for picnic we used to do the same.

Pomegranate trees are rare to be seen in this region.
At the Bird house there were these Ducks, Peacocks, Peahens and also some Rabbits.
We are just getting started
The day was filled with fun and laughter, all day we had music going on. Kids spent some time in the pool. we played some games and then at night we had a barbecue dinner. A perfect way to spend the weekend.
There was also this huge Banyan Tree, I am not sure what it's age would be like, but looks really very old, may be around 300 years. I never miss an opportunity to do a Tree hug when I get one.

Awesome....spending a night especially on weekend help to make us relax. I remember when use to have long drive or kind of get together chit chat for a night help me get over all the weekdays work jinx. The farmhouse is indeed beautiful to have some quality time with friends and loved ones.👌

True, these weekend getaways are so much about spending quality time. When I was in India it use to not happen much but here we are doing it often which I feel very good about
While I was in job...almost every Friday night we use to have night out....only our group of 7...and Occassionally we plan out out station....Haridwar and Shimla being the most favoured destination

It is indeed a great place to relax and have fun and a chance to see some marvelous animals too in the farmhouse @nainaztengra I am glad that you had some quality time with your family there. I also want to go to a similar place like that.

Looks like it was a really good weekend, and a well deserved break for you. The buildings look really charming, and it’s nice to have a pool available for entertainment too.
Such a fascinating old tree as well, I really love historic things like that.
