Sublime Sunday fun with light
This is a post for Sublime Sunday, created by @c0ff33a here is what he says about it
Welcome to SublimeSunday a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a
I think its such a cool and fun idea so I decided to join again this week and had fun this morning doing some creative edits, mostly I try and do realistic looking photos but I do have fun doing edits for this theme.
This week I am going to share some shots of playing with light with a friend where we played around with my Pixel stick, which is a long Pole with many LED lights that can be programmed to make some cool light trails
A previous post with the pixel stick seemed to be of interest to people so I thought I would do another one with some shots we got.

It is possible to program quite a range of color son the stick, rainbow colors for example of just one color as in this shot, which is a 25 Second exposure and Bryan got such a cool pattern with the stick for this shot, the light patterns came out well, but I did underexpose the lady a little but still a shot I was happy with

For this one I set the Pixel stick to change colors as time went on to get this cool pattern.

And for this last one we were all involved in the shot, bryan Spinning burning Steel wool, the lady again with the umbrella with sparks bouncing off both the umbrella and her legs, she was such a trooper, she didn't mind the sparks on her leg, n fact I think it was her who suggested to do thei shot with both the pixel stick and the burning Steel Wool.
I set the camera up on the tripod, set a delay before taking the shot and then raced over grabbed thepixel stick and made the patterns behind it as the shot was being taken.

Thanks it was such a fun shoot
Cool pics. Quite the creative team you have! I like these kind of photo creations versus the digital edits. Although digital edits are really coming around as art
YEs this shoot was such fun I must do it again sometime :)
