Patience is a virtue very hard to hold unto but it pays greatly in the long run or in the end. Things that re precious re not easily available. Someone once said if y' have a goal that can be easily achieved then y' don't have a goal yet... Why? Because it wouldn't last a longtime. Have y' ever taken your time to study those things that re most expensive or very precious in the world like Diamond, Silver, Gold etc? How difficult it is for anyone to mine or get them...real difficult. In fact it takes extraordinary dedication to dig deep for any of the above.

Patience comes with pain, embarrassment, foolishness etc. It only takes some special courage to still wait once more. One thing about being patient for that day of success or that time of expected change, hoping for a new beginning to come, is that people who re not really carrying the burden re the ones who would advise y' to give up. Could y' imagine that after y' have waited and somehow getting closer, somebody somewhere who haven't for any day helped y' in your predicament would now come and cut short your distance walked. Bringing y' back instead of forging ahead. Y' must be convince about where y' heading to, that goal y' have must be worth your patience, only this conviction would keep y' going despite all sort of disappointment or discouragement.

According to a popular proverb which says...

A patience dog eats the fattest bone.

What this proverb tells us is that when we endure the end would be better. Even the the Holy Book speak about it too... Here it says

The glory of the later days shall be greater than the former.

So, here again we re made to understand that the glory of the future would be better than the past.

Anyone who is not patient would not or never achieve tangible goals. The strive for quick wealth, the strive to get everything overnight is a good destroyer of destiny. Let's be frank with ourselves, check back some years ago, do y' remember those things y' should have started but refused to do so just because it's a goal that would take y' some 3-5yr to accomplish. Now imagine if y' started it...now over those years we thought were so long to wait, we have spent it with nothing to show for it. We can't basically point to anything tangible we have done. Now we abandoned those longterm goals because we were pursuing the short term goals with the mindset of making money quick, quick, but later do we realized we had wasted our time and effort. Patience is meant for those who really want to succeed in life.

If y' think waiting for longterm goal is to long to wait for, then keep sleeping and waking while pursuing short term goals, it would surprise y' that that long year y' couldn't stand to wait for had just passed away. Time is the only thing in life that no one can regain. When time is lost it's gone forever. Am writing this because of the countless mistakes i have made for not being patient enough and i'd feel it wouldn't just me alone. There re several people making this mistakes. Now, in the beginning of this year many of us set goals that we would achieve in 1-3months, we saw the end of the year too far from January, so any goal that would take us 10-12months to accomplish we swept them off...pursuing sharp sharp goals, please how much have we been able to achieve doing all that at this juncture? It wouldn't surprise me if y' haven't achieved anything...yeah, because we pursue things that wouldn't stay long with us but rather things that would fly away like eagles. Patience is a virtue y' must have. Had it been we were patient enough, we may have become millionaires today or those things we re struggling to do now would have been done many years back. Just take your time...draw your plans, wait a while and see it through. Mind y' Every Patient Dog would surely eat the fattest meat...not bone...smiles.
