How to beat the summer heat!

Summer is coming to its peak and despite having an electric fan and air conditioner to cool down the heat, somehow, we can still feel the summer heat outside of our doors blazing with the sun shining down. Summer isn’t just about beaches to cool down the summer heat and have fun splashing in the water with your friends and family. It should also be taken seriously due to heat stroke and many other illnesses we can get from too much heat. The UV rays of the sun are extremely harmful when you’ve been exposed too much and it can cause skin diseases. To prevent this, you can use a higher SPF lotion, or perhaps wear a jacket or umbrella to prevent a direct exposure. As for the replenishment of the liquid inside your body which was lost due to sweating, you must drink lots of fluids to keep you from dehydrating. Water is a common source of hydration but there are many sources as well. We have fruits such as watermelon, honey dew, citrus fruits, pear and apple, cucumber and many more. You must think of ways to keep yourself cool this summer inside and out. If you like refreshments, you can create your own at home. Just chill some fruits in the freezer and mix it with milk and sugar in the blender. Now you’ll have a fruit shake. Or you may create a smoothie or an ice cream. We must take care of our bodies for us to be able to enjoy summer. Because we can’t have fun if our body can’t cope up with it. Learn to get the groove with your body and make a daily routine of keeping your body in shape everyday to always be healthy and energetic in all your activities.
