The sun on Thursday. A beautiful theme to think about. The sun is a miracle, because of it we are here and very likely because of it we will disappear.
Beyond all, sunlight embellishes everything that touches.
Summer, on the way to the sea. My house is 200 km from the Black Sea. Black Sea in Romania. Because all my childhood and youth have been at sea in Romania now, near my old age I go to neighboring Bulgaria, also to the Black Sea.
The road to the sea passes through a region called Dobrogea. A region with plains and waters, the Danube passes all the way to the sea.
I love fields with wheat and wild flowers flooded by sunlight. We see the indirect sun reflected on grass and flowers ...
This is the deserted road to the sea. Because it is a secondary road, away from the highway I was able to meet different creatures, a turtle, goats and even the Danube!
This is part of the way to the sea. The most beautiful part of it.
This I remembered when I thought of the sun on Thursday.
What can be more beautiful than winding through a wheat field, with red poppies and a burning sun.

I am not sure that you could have put up a prettier post today. It is looking like it is going to snow here and the poppies just jumped right out at me with their pops of red, being stroked by the Sun. Thank you for that most wonderful post and I wasn't sure if you were headed to Bulgaria or if you were reminiscing about a past trip, which is one of the reasons I came over here to look at your post. If one wants to know something, you must Backtrack on the post. Wherever you are and whatever you're doing I hope that you are having a most wonderful day!
