Brayton to defend Aus title
So there is not a lot of surprises here but i can confirm that Justin Brayton will return to Australia this year to defend his Australian Supercross title. This gives the Honda rider the chance to capture something special as he will be defending his current Supercross title and as a two time champion that means he is going for the magic number three!
While in Australia he will be riding with the Penrite Honda Racing team and as he has just signed a two year deal with Smartop/Bullfrog Spas/MotoConcepts Honda the Australian Supercross series will be perfect for keeping him sharp for next years Monster Energy Supercross series in the US.
Brayton rode to his first 450 Main event win this year at Daytona which also put him in the record books by being the oldest winner in Supercross history. To top it all off he finished fifth overall for the season, not too shabby for an old guy! :)

"I 100 percent believe that racing in Australia gave me the kick-start I needed to be ready for the world supercross championship in America. We were able to prepare in race conditions—the emulation is priceless, and I am thankful that all parties came together to make it seamless."
"I look forward to coming back for the 2018 SX season. Australia feels like my second home, since 2016 I have spent nearly as much time in Australia as I have in my home in Charlotte as the American championship is relentless—we are travelling to 16 rounds across 17 weekends, so it’s quite full-on."
The Australian Supercross Championship does not start until September 15 at Jimboomba in Queensland. This gives the rider some time to aclimitise and prepare before the gates drop.
