The Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM have anounced today that both Jordon Smith and teammate Mitchell Falk will both not be riding round ten of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross series this weekend at Daytona. Falk has been out since the first round of the 250 SX East series in Minneapolis but the team are confident he will be back next week at Minneapolis.

Smith however, has been riding the past few rounds with a wrist injury and riding through the pain. It seems however the team have decided to make him sit this out and take the time to heal up properly rather than carry an ongoing wrist problem through the season. Smith picked up the injury in a nasty crash in the Arlington main event at the 250 SX East coast's second round. He somehow managed to grab a second place finish at the Detroit Triple Crown event he told reporters in the post race interview he had not even finished a ten minute moto during practice the week before.

I hope they both take the time needed and come back full strength, which we know in Smiths case is certainly podium material if not the win!
