Picking the Right Blockchain for the Job by Andreas M. Antonopoulos

"In this talk, Andreas asks which blockchain is the best blockchain, and then shows why that question falls short. He argues that we should choose tools that are best designed for the applications we want to build. but must also understand that what we create may be used by the market in unanticipated ways, and that function may change over time. Form follows function... sometimes.

This talk was delivered on May 31st 2019 for the DigitalK conference in Sofia, Bulgaria. If you want early-access to talks and a chance to participate in the monthly live Q&As with Andreas, become a patron: https://www.patreon.com/aantonop"

Syndicator's Note:

I really loved this talk that Andreas gave. He talked about one of the most common problems in the crypto space: do you really need a blockchain for that?

A lot of projects have sprung up all over the internet touting various "amazing" features that they have that no other blockchain out there has.

There is tribalism all over the blockchain space and many businesses and projects out there will die off. Andreas talks about the need for blockchain in certain cases and how to choose the right blockchain for the job.

Steem Account Status: Claimed

Andreas created a Steem account a while back (February 2018) but has not posted regularly on the blockchain.

Similar to nearly every non-Steemian out there, Andreas likely still believes that the Steem blockchain only hosts the Steemit blogging platform. We would love to show him and others that Steem is the home of so many more amazing applications that have nothing to do with Steemit or Steemit, inc.

We believe that syndicating content for amazingly talented creators/educators such as Andreas is the perfect way to showcase what Steem is capable of.

Since Andreas has already claimed the aantonop account, we've set him as the 100% beneficiary to all the content we syndicate from his YouTube channel to the Steem blockchain.

We would love the opportunity to connect with Andreas and get him cross-posting to the Steem blockchain, so if you'd like to help in that mission, feel free to share our twitter and/or discord with him and his followers.

Andreas also put out a tweet back in February, 2018 confirming his ownership of the @aantonop Steem account.

What is Steemleo Content Syndication?

The Steemleo community is syndicating high-quality financial content from across the internet. We're also creating free Steem accounts for the authors of that content who have not yet discovered the Steem blockchain as a means to monetizing their content and we're listing those accounts as the 100% beneficiaries to all the rewards. If you want to learn more about Steemleo's content syndication strategy, click here.

This place would be great for him :)

He already has a steem acount @aantonop. I made a comment to steemleo about this but they have not responded. Given this fact, the steemleo team should consider setting that account as a beneficiary at 100%.

That is what they did ... and do with all the syndaction posts .... even if the author dont have a steem account they create one for him

Steem leo did not create an account for him, he did it himself a long time ago.

I hope he still has the keys :p
