Tarot Tuesday Twosome #4

Introduction

My Tarot Tuesday Twosome takes two cards and explains what they suggest about the present and immediate future. Two cards can show point / counter-point situations. They can show a situation and further details to consider. They can indicate the present situation ... and the near future or the next step in the progression.

They give literally twice as much information as the familiar One-Card Reading, and I have found them to be surprisingly prescient in my practice with them. So, I decided to bring them here to my Steemit blog -- to show you what I mean and invite you to consider their weekly message / prediction ... and step into a more conscious life.

The Empress = fertility, abundant creative energy, tremendous potential & abundance, prosperity & wealth, a strong feeling of compassion & loving support, gratitude for your blessings

Seven of Water = playing (or living) in your imagination, working with untapped potential, having an abundance of choices -- with the need to choose wisely from among them, a time of thinking & contemplation rather than action, wishful thinking, envisioning "what could be"

A comment on current conditions
What are these cards saying?

• Put serious time & effort into self-care. Don't try to push anything.

• It's time to put yourself back together -- or round yourself up and refocus. You are surrounded by tremendous potential -- but you need to make some choices and decide what to do with it.

• Cultivate a prosperous, creative, caring perspective. There are many options you haven't seen or considered well enough yet.

A forecast of the future
As a one-two sequence,

For someone as impatient and action-oriented as I am, this sounds like, "Hey, take the week off. Pamper yourself. Be lazy. A mini-vacation can do wonders for your perspective -- and show you a number of productive choices you haven't considered yet. But you really need to center yourself and be quiet and open enough to hear them. Let life show you new possibilities. It would help if you'd be receptive and willing to welcome them."

Psychologically, I know this is true -- although I can't say it's exactly what I wanted to hear. It may, however, speak volumes of truth -- especially to you. So let's sum up this advice like this: The most fertile ideas come to you in times of quiet reflection and healing. Create the right atmosphere for this experience and it will reward you. Seriously. Try it.

Quite a few of us seem to have been through the wringer lately for one reason or another. The Tarot cards on this blog have spoken of this consistently (and urgently.) Now, it would seem we've reached a clearing where we can step back, center ourselves, hit the reset button ... and decide how to proceed from here. There are plenty of possibilities to consider -- and more we need to discover.

To be aligned with this energy and its advice, take the time (and do the self-care) to examine and work with them properly. The answers you seek will reveal themselves to you -- if you let them. They'll do it faster if you're receptive, responsive and open-minded. For that, it helps if you'll settle down and stop trying to push the river.

There's a lot of abundance here. Let it flourish -- and harvest it. You've reached an important moment of personal growth and maturity. Do what it takes to process it properly.
