Bali Food Guide - #26 Vinny´s Warung, Berawa
Vinny´s Warung is a small restaurant in the heart of Berawa on Bali. The only difference to the other Warungs here on Bali is, that Vinny´s is 100% vegan.
However, this does not prevent the owner from serving the Indonesian classic Bakso. Instead of meatballs which are usually one ingredient of the soup they take tofu balls.
Vinny´s Warung ist ein kleines Restaurant im Herzen von Berawa auf Bali. Der einzige Unterschied zu den anderen Warungs hier auf Bali ist, dass Vinny zu 100% vegan ist.
Dies hindert den Besitzer jedoch nicht daran, den indonesischen Klassiker Bakso zu servieren. Anstelle von Fleischbällchen, die normalerweise eine Zutat der Suppe sind, nehmen sie Tofubällchen.
I love that soup as it has so much flavor. It is always gets fresh prepared and is a perfect meal for days you´re not that hungry.
The Tofu Balls taste awesome and almost have the same texture like meatballs. I ordered this soup so many times and I still love it. It takes a while to prepare it but you won´t regret to wait.
Ich liebe diese Suppe, weil sie so viel Geschmack hat. Sie wird immer frisch zubereitet und ist eine perfekte Mahlzeit für Tage, an denen man nicht so hungrig ist.
Die Tofubällchen schmecken fantastisch und haben fast die gleiche Konsistenz wie Fleischbällchen. Ich habe diese Suppe schon so oft bestellt und ich liebe sie immer noch. Es dauert eine Weile, sie zu zubereiten, aber man wird es nicht bereuen, zu warten.
Apart from the Bakso they also serve other indonesian classics, like Nasi Goreng, with Tofu Skewers and Tempe instead of chicken.
They also do pretty delicious desserts like a brownie made of sweet potato for example...of course everything is vegan.
Neben dem Bakso werden auch andere indonesische Klassiker wie Nasi Goreng mit Tofuspießen und Tempe anstelle von Hühnchen serviert.
Sie machen auch ziemlich leckere Desserts wie z.B. einen Brownie aus Süßkartoffel... natürlich ist alles vegan.
