Tasteem Review, Anak Mami Restaurant

The Nasi Kandar Anak Mami Restaurant is an Indian Muslim Restaurant located at Lintas, Luyang area in the district of Kota Kinabalu City. This restaurant is opened for business 24 Hours a day, and they have lots of customers of different ethnicity and ages.

Our Steemit community had a meetup there last Friday, and I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures of the foods and drinks that me and my wife had that night.

We were suppose to meetup at 8.00pm, as we came early, and hungry, we ordered our foods and drinks while waiting for the others to arrive.

There are some ready cooked dish on displayed, so I chose these delicious squids and prawns cooked in their special sambal gravy. Eaten with white rice, it tasted so delicious, I can't have enough. Fortunately, I managed to restrain my self from having another plate of those delightful dish.

My wife ordered her favourite Murthaba Sardines which is quite a big portion to my opinion. But she managed to finish it up all by herself. Lol.

For drinks, we both ordered this hot creamy milky tea.

The menus are being displayed on the wall, but it will take some time to go through all of it. Just look at the number of menus that they offered.

I weren't able to upload the seating arrangement inside the restaurant as the file was corrupted, this is the only picture that I managed to salvage. It's an open air restaurant with tables arranged inside and outside.

The funny thing about this restaurant, eventhough it's an Indian restaurant, but I didn't see it's Indian owner. All of its staffs are Malays. Anyway, this restaurant is a good place to hang out with your friends.

If you ever visit this restaurant, I recommended that you try out their Petai Prawn cooked with Spicy Sambal. You going to love it
