Eat in an old train car
Sunday evening, due to rain and wind, we spent the evening at the WestingHouse. It is a place that takes on the location of a Nineteenth-Century wagon, with wooden seats and tables.
The characteristic is that the seats have a wooden structure, typical of the trains of the past century, exclusively in wood, on which the suitcases of the travelers can be placed.
The tables are arranged differently, depending on the number of seats. At the entrance of the pizzeria, located in the historic center of the town, is the cicchetti counter, where staff welcome customers.
The house specialty is meat but I always take really good pizza. But what I love most is the mixed fry ❤: it is made up of French fries, potato croquettes, fried panzerotti, fried mozzarella, fried Ascoli olives! All accompanied by mayonnaise and ketchup sauces.
The pizzas are many and all very good. The dough is soft and fragrant and the seasonings are in the right quantities. The edge of the pizza is really sublims 🍕
At the end of the dinner, before paying the bill, the owner always offers you a digestive: you can choose between bitter, limoncello or bayles.
