A vegetarian evening at Le Arcate
This evening with friends we had dinner at the pizzeria "Le Arcate". Born about a couple of years ago, it is located near the city port, next to a small church called Madonna dell'Assunta.
The restaurant consists of a welcome room, occupied by the pizza maker's position and the wood-fired oven, and a large room where there are seats for customers. Here there are several tables available, well ordered and set.

In one corner of the room, there is a workstation dedicated to the chef for cooking gray meat or octopus (when available). On the other side of the room, there is a wall dedicated exclusively to wines.

The vegetarian dish I chose is a mixture of grilled vegetables (zucchini, aubergines and peppers), seasoned with oil, parsley and garlic, accompanied by the freshly baked focaccia. The dish is well presented and the vegetables bind well with the hot focaccia.

The cost of the dish is 5 euros, while the focaccia costs 2 euros. It is a dish suitable for the evening, light and genuine. The pizzeria also has a menu full of excellent pizzas, which can be added if the vegetable dish has not satisfied you.

The place is not very big and, especially on weekends or holidays, booking is advisable.
