Cafe Aroma review - Added a new restaurant to my weekly visit list
Cafe Aroma just opened a month ago in the lobby of Indiabulls Financial Centre, Tower 3. The concept is that of a european cafe. It's open plan and I liked the look and feel of it the day it opened, only to visit today.
It's a cafe chain located in many areas of Mumbai. The place itself claims to be Australia's favourite cafe but I think that's just a marketing gimmick.
The menu is very cafe like - pizzas, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, some nibbles, and a few asian and european mains. They also have desserts and coffee. I chose the chicken submarine panini on multigrain bread only because
I was quite eager to eat a crispy panini.
Now, for my opinion. The food looked really appealing. It was presented very well. The minced chicken patty inside was flavourful and succulent.
A big let down was the bread. That wasn't bloody panini on my plate. However, that's the problem with a lot of places in India. They sell whatever they want by calling it whatever they want because most people will be unaware.
Anyway, the sandwich generally was quite good. The place has a decenr vibe to it and the staff is very polite and respectful. so not getting the right bread was a minor hiccup in an otherwise very nice meal.
The cost was ~£5. Purchasing parity wise, it's not cheap, neither expensive. Kind of like going to pizza hut in any other part of the world.
The place is great, ideal to visit with clients or friends and the food will not disappoint
