❤️Culinaric and romantic delight - 1687 gourmet restaurant

Dear Steamians,

today I want to share my experience at the gourmet restaurant 1687 with you.

It is located in the city centre of Berlin. The chef cook is Thomas Trabski. The restaurant offers modern european cuisine, which is influenced by french culinaric.

Not only the extraordinary food is something to recommend. The place itself with its majesctic, modern and likewise comfortable interior design is really a gem and more than ideal for a romatic valentines dinner!

Look at this beautiful golden framed see through wine cabinet which resembles a safe!

The restaurand & café is open daily except of Sunday from 08h till 23h.

Menu
The day I visited this restaurant was at a summer welcome evening. It was offered a more than recommandable rose champagne Taittinger with different french influenced finger food. I tried a salmon stick with an excellent seasoning, courgette flower, figue and some excellent pastry. I also tried for the first time oysters, something I was always afriad of, but a perfect match whilst speaking of the Valentines day ;)

Service
The service leaves nothing to be desired! The moment my glass was getting empty, I was asked very friendly if I wish a refill. Empty dishes were bussed very quickly. The whole atmosphere was really welcoming due to the excellent restaurant team.

Menu
Next to this finger food welcome party, of course the restaurant offers a variety of great breakfast, lunch, and dinner menues. The menu changes weekly, so just in case it gets your place to visit very often, you surely will get always surprised with new dishes.
Prices are more than reasonable for this gourmet restaurant. For the lunch menu starters like soups start from 5,50€, main dishes from 14 - 18 (fish). There are always dishes for vegetarians, fish and meat lovers!

But speaking of a romantic candle light dinner, here are also the range of prices for the dinner. Main dishes: Vegetarian plates around 20€, main dishes with fish and meat starting from 24€ to 38€. The budget you should plan for two persons for a dinner including a starter, main dish, desert and wine: 120-150€.
