Ordering in is the new trend (Peppina)
Not specific to any restaurant, but home delivery is so popular and a growing trend in Asia that all kinds of food can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. In most of Southeast Asia, the application Grab is gaining track in deliveries as people become more time savvy, they are slowing adopting a new lifestyle of ordering in.
Grab has certainly an effect in Thailand where deliveries can be made by hiring a motorcyclist to pick up your order and deliver to your doorstep with just added small fee. Depending on the distance covered from store to your home, the delivery fees start from 9 Baht, which is USD 0.30$. With such ease in dining experience, more restaurants are joining the new lifestyle and have started exclusive promotions on these applications, growing their base of consumers through another channel.
Peppina
Before I do a take away of their menu, I wanted to check on the actual storefront to compare both experiences of dining in the restaurant and ordering in.

I make a visit to Peppina's and absolutely enjoyed their most authentic Neapolitan pizzas in Bangkok, as well as their burrata. I know I've reviewed the best burrata I've ever tasted but Peppina's burrata is also worth a try.
Creamy burrata, needed a bit of seasoning with salt.
Their famous pizzas done the right way. Crust and the pizza dough is soft, chewy, baked to have just enough crisp at the crust. Parma ham is not too salty, and is balanced with fresh arugula rocket leaves spread out on the tomato based pizza. Simple, and to the point.
Pork cheek ragu pasta, was also unexpectedly good. The ragu cooked until the meat is fully softened, looks rather modest but the rich meat based sauce is not to be taken lightly.
The food tasted in the restaurant in overall was outstanding, and my company all agreed to make a return visit for the pizza and pasta.
When taken away
Ordering in is simple. Simply open the app and click on the menus you want to have delivered to you. Currently Peppina is running an amazing promotion where, when you order a pasta dish, a FREE Pizza Margherita is bundled! 👍👍👍👍

Our order was with the previous promotion, so we went for the linguine with clams and tomato, mezze maniche pasta pork cheek ragu and margherita pizza.
The presentation of course is not up to par as when dined in, we're here to check out the taste and whether it matches my previous experience at the restaurant.
The pizza, yes, tasted wonderful. Even if the pizza was tepid from the distance traveled, pop it in the microwave for a few seconds and its just as good as eating it in the restaurant.
The pastas, I had mixed feelings about these. Although they didn't taste bad, the pastas didn't have the al dente bite and the sauce either wasn't cooked in abundance or the pasta soaked it on in while during the time being delivered. Much rather order all in pizzas than have a pasta dish when taking out.
