Food Sharing #63 - Brunch at Flower Child Cafe @ Chatswood, Australia

Hi Steemains,

Flower Child has recently changed their menu as it is now Spring in Australia so the menu is now catered for the season’s produce. I’ve never come here for breakfast so due to the new menu change, we have decided to check it out.

Let’s have a look at the menu. So many changes so it's hard to choose what to eat!

So we ordered a mushroom toast, prosciutto & asparagus soldiers and tea. Here comes the food. Everything was presented beautifully just like the setting of the cafe.

If you want desserts, they have a nice range of goodies available every day. Everything looked so yummy but we were too full from our mains so we decided to skip dessert. The food here is always of high quality and tastes great. The only downside is it is on the expensive end and servings are average sized. As I love to order tea normally for brunch, this cafe doesn’t top up the tea as they already brew the tea beforehand when you order it and remove the leaves when its served to you. So if you want more, you can ask for some hot water and add it to your half pot of tea after your first cup.

What I love about this cafe is the location as it has free parking as well as its situated indoors so you don’t need to go outside in case of wet weather. They decorated the cafe and the outside seating area really nicely, just like you are in wonderland. There are leaves, trees and flowers on top and around which makes their customers feel like they are very relaxed and can enjoy their meals and drinks.
